Booking Policy

My training is based on enabling owners to get the very best out of their dog via the most modern, kindest, effective and scientifically proven dog training.

The policies that I adhere to are written in the interest of safety, responsibility and care for dogs and their humans whilst in the care of Pawsome Dog Academy.

  1. Aversive and harsh handling is forbidden. I will not tolerate choke chains and other punitive techniques. All of my training offered embraces humane, scientifically sound training practices based on learning theory and understanding of canine behaviour, and excludes any pain-inducing, fear-inducing, or avoidance-based techniques.

  2. Refunds cannot be given after your Training Programme has started.

  3. Pawsome Dog Academy cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, damage or death to dog, person or property.

  4. Payment is required before each session. Payment can be made via BACS prior to your session.

  5. If you are booking a package of sessions, these sessions will expire after 6 months of booking.

  6. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be allowed up to 48 hours before the agreed session was due to take place. After this time, you will have to forfeit the session and pay for it.

  7. On rare occasions, I may have to cancel our session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, if this is the case, I will try and accommodate you into my next available slot and try my best to give you as much notice as possible.

  8. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from pawsomedogacademy@gmail.com.

  9. It is your responsibility to book in your sessions with me before they expire.

  10. Online sessions can be moved to in-person for an additional fee.

  11. International bookings are bound to all of the above.

  12. By booking a session or a package of sessions with me, you are agreeing with all of the above.

  13. Dogs should not attend a session if they exhibit any signs of illness within 24 hours prior to a class or session, which may include vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy, butt-scooting, discharge of the eyes or nose that is coloured or thick, inflamed or oozing sores, excessive scratching, head shaking, sneezing, honking, coughing. If this occurs, please seek veterinary help and please inform me as soon as possible so we are able to reschedule our session.

  14. I use scientifically proven, reward-based methods, however, no trainers including us can guarantee results. It really depends on you, your dog and how much work you put in. No refunds will be given if you don’t get to where you feel you want to get to.

Thank you,

Aggie at Pawsome Dog Academy
